The Art of Transition
Master Interview Anxiety From The Inside Out.
Book a ConversationPerhaps you've experienced this too.
You know you have what it takes.
But every time you stand at the threshold of an interview, your body tenses up.
Heart racing, the words you prepared suddenly feel foreign.
You can see the path clearly, yet you can't take a steady step forward.
It's not that you're not strong enough.
You just haven't found your footing yet.
Afterward, you tell yourself: next time will be better.
But next time, the same feeling returns.
This isn't about interview techniques.
Or memorizing perfect answers.
It's about something more fundamental:
Finding a stable foundation within your own body,
so that even when you feel unsteady,
you can still find solid ground.
The Crossing is a 6-week mind-body regulation process. It's not about teaching you "how to answer questions," but helping you develop the ability to "stay grounded on unstable ground."
It integrates evidence-based Western psychology, mindfulness practices, and somatic regulation with Eastern wisdom traditions. Not just understanding concepts, but finding new support at the mind-body level.
Each step helps you stand a little steadier
Your nervousness isn't the problem. It's a signal. We start here.
When the mind is still racing, the body can find stillness first.
Identifying your inner critic, the voice that says "you're not good enough."
From "I must overcome anxiety" to "I can carry on with it."
Redefining your relationship with interviews.
Taking all of this into your next interview.
While our focus is on interviews, the support you find here can be applied much more broadly.
The tension before an important presentation, the unease during difficult conversations, any moment when you feel unsteady. The practice of identifying your inner critic will help you make clearer choices in daily life. Learning to coexist with anxiety becomes a foundational skill for facing uncertainty.
The interview is just an entry point. What you take away is a set of inner tools you can use on any unstable ground.
This crossing isn't just about reaching the other side and getting the offer.
Though that matters too.
The deeper meaning lies in this:
This process reveals your patterns,
the inner voices usually ignored,
your true reactions in moments of instability.
But this kind of crossing needs the right companionship.
These 6 weeks are an investment in yourself.
90 minutes weekly, 4-6 participants. The group brings not just companionship, but the relief of knowing "it's not just me."
Breathing, body scans, grounding rituals. 5-10 minutes to make practice simple.
Not homework. Tools to help you notice your own changes.
6 weeks together, witnessing each other. You're not walking this path alone.
All practices and anchor points integrated. Available to use anytime after the program ends.
After the program ends, the group stays open for two weeks. Come back to debrief after real interviews.
This is the pilot cohort of The Crossing, launching late March 2026. I'm looking for 4-6 people willing to explore together. As a founding participant, you'll join at a special rate, and I welcome your honest feedback.

I'm Sylvia, founder of The Art of Transition.
The Crossing comes from the intersection of two worlds: professional training in psychology (Master's in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney), and 15 years of firsthand experience in the corporate world. I grew from management trainee to Brand Manager at Unilever, then served as Marketing Director at Kraft Heinz. After moving to Sydney, I worked at Nestlé, Jamaica Blue, and other companies, experiencing everything from multinational giants to local brands, from established systems to startup environments.
Over these years, I've sat on both sides of the interview table. As a candidate, I went through layers of screening at multinational corporations. As a manager, I interviewed hundreds of candidates. I've seen too many capable people unable to show their true selves because of nerves.
I understand the frustration of being well-prepared yet unable to speak. I also understand how "I must perform well this time" becomes the very obstacle that holds you back.
I won't tell you "don't be nervous". I know that doesn't work. I'll help you find a way to stay grounded even when your legs feel weak.
"The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek."
